Dear Colleagues;
As the Farm Animal Veterinary Medicine Association (FAVMA), we last held the Sheep & Goat Health and Management Congress in Cyprus in 2019. We could not hold this congress, which we organize every two years, in the normal time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. For this reason after 4 years, the 5th congress will be held in Marmaris on 27-30 April 2023
Sheep and goats, which are the species from which red meat and milk are obtained the most in our country after cattle, are very important animal species in and around our country. The importance of these species is increasing every year due to climate changes in the world. Therefore, sheep and goats are important animal species for our country. The issues related to breeding, feeding and diseases of sheep and goats, which are so important, always maintain their relevance. In the 5th National & 2nd International Sheep-Goat Health and Management Congress, many invited speakers from abroad and from our country who are experts in their fields will be included, and applied workshops will be held. Free oral and poster presentations will also be included in the congress. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of these papers. On the other hand, the FAVMA will provide scholarships (50% of the congress registration and accommodation amount) to 5 researchers, primarily the young researchers who participate in this congress with an oral presentation.
We invite you to our sheep and goat health and management congress in Marmaris, a wonder of nature, with our scientists, colleagues and sector stakeholders, and we wish to be together in a scientific and social environment.
